  • Ntokozo Zakwe is a young woman from Hillcrest in KwaZulu Natal who was raped when she was only 11 years old. The man who raped her threatened her and said there would be consequences if she told anyone about it. Now, thirteen years later, she is ready to tell her story.

  • This year’s funding report shows that prevention funding continues to slowly decline overall. Over the same time, cure research got a big bump from global funders. A separate cure-focused brief, developed in partnership with the International AIDS Society, showed investment in cure research tripled since 2012.
